Manager – Purchase

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement activities for engineering and project-based requirements in the water and wastewater treatment domain. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of materials for ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end procurement of materials related to WWTP / WTP / STP / ETP projects Source and evaluate vendors for pumps, valves, electrical, and mechanical components Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers Ensure timely procurement to support project execution Maintain vendor database and performance records Coordinate with project and engineering teams for material requirements Monitor purchase orders, inventory status, and delivery timelines Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality

Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in purchase/procurement (preferably in water treatment or EPC industry) Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, and industrial equipment Good negotiation and vendor management skills Ability to handle project-based procurement Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation
