Lead supplier development strategy by collaborating with vendor development team • Develop the quality metrics to monitor the supplier quality performance • Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards. • Knowledge of inspection of parts. i.e. motor, filter, electrical panels, fans, sheet metal parts, catalogue items, electrical items. • Perform supplier process audits as per ISO 900:2015 • Conduct `Supplier Quality meet’ workshops to enforce the quality requirements • Team up with suppliers on the value enhancement opportunities in the manufacturing processes • Review supplier manufacturing capabilities in line with FlaktGroup supplier quality manual • Should possess strong analytical problem-solving skills through QC approach • Hands on experience in problem solving techniques • Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to refine the product/component specifications to improve the capability of supplier processes • Achieve Supplier PPM targets with Zero defect mindset • Review supplier performance score card with plant and supplier leadership teams • Conduct benchmarking studies at suppliers and ensure horizontal deployment across the value chain • Strong negotiation skills to set high standards and continuously achieve the same as part of supplier improvement plan

Responsibilities: Blue-Collar Workforce & Shop-Floor Coordination • Daily coordination with Production Supervisors to understand manpower requirements for each shift. • Track BC deployment, movement between departments, and daily shift allocation. • Ensure manpower availability to avoid line stoppage and support production continuity. Attendance & Time Office Management • Manage daily BC biometric/manual attendance and validate shift rosters. • Monitor OT hours, weekly offs, and attendance discrepancies. • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly attendance reports for payroll. Statutory Compliance & IR Activities • Maintain all statutory registers as per the Factories Act, CLRA, ESIC, PF, and other labour law requirements. • Ensure contractor compliance: wage sheets, muster rolls, ESIC/PF challans, insurance, ID cards, etc. • Support grievance handling, misconduct reporting, shop-floor discipline, and IR documentation. • Assist during audits (internal, external, statutory) ensuring full documentation readiness. Blue-Collar Hiring & Onboarding • Coordinate with production and manpower vendors to plan BC hiring based on line requirements. • Screen candidates, verify documents, and complete onboarding formalities. • Conduct induction, issue PPE/ID cards, and ensure they are deployed to production on timeHR & Administrative Support • Maintain personal files, joining documents, leave records, and movement registers. • Coordinate uniform distribution, welfare facilities, and safety briefings. • Support HR in plant HR activities, employee engagement, and communication. Skills & Competencies • Mandatory: Experience working in a production/manufacturing plant environment. • Strong understanding of blue-collar management and shift/line manpower planning. • Knowledge of HR Admin & IR documentation and statutory compliance. • Good interpersonal skills for dealing with supervisors, workers, and vendors. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, attendance systems, and documentation. • Ability to work on the shop floor and handle day-to-day IR/HR operational issues. • Exhibits strong observation skills and exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of work.

 Develop and implement production planning and scheduling based on order requirements and production capacity.  Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.  Monitor daily production progress and ensure targets are achieved within timelines.  Plan and control material requirements for production to avoid shortages or delays.  Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and resources in the production process.  Prepare and maintain production reports, planning sheets, and MIS reports.  Track production efficiency, delays, and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.  Work closely with the shop floor team to ensure proper workflow and adherence to production schedules.  Maintain documentation related to production planning and control activities.

o Product / HVAC electrical performace testing and line documents. o Line balancing of refrigertion cycle. o Electrical circuit verification as per drg. o Maintaining in process / line documentation. o Inspect electrical control panels, wiring, and components of AHUs. o Verify wiring as per approved electrical schematics and GA drawings. o Check installation of MCC panels, VFDs, sensors, thermostats, actuators, and safety devices. o Ensure proper cable dressing, gland entry, earthing/grounding, and labeling o Conduct routine electrical tests including as per procedure (example: Insulation Resistance (IR) test, Continuity test, Functional testing of control panels, Phase sequence verification). o Verify operation of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motors, and control circuits. o Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and client inspections. o Ensure compliance with safety standards such as International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). o Support ISO documentation and audits (e.g., ISO 9001) o Verify panel components comply with approved makes and project specifications. o Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for electrical defects. o Conduct root cause analysis and recommend correction and corrective actions (CAPA). o Monitor rework and ensure compliance before dispatch o Maintain test reports, inspection records, calibration records, and FAT documents. o Review electrical drawings and control logic diagrams.

• Develop and implement quality control plans for AHU manufacturing. • Perform in-process and final inspections of AHU units and its parts. • Knowldege of sheet metal parts and fabrication process .i.e cutting, bending, welding, brazing. • Verify dimensional accuracy, assembly quality, and finishing standards. • Monitor production quality metrics and identify areas for improvement • Ensure compliance with HVAC standards such as AMCA, and Eurovent. • Support ISO documentation and audits (e.g., International Organization for Standardization standards such as ISO 9001). • Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs (NonConformance Reports), and corrective action reports. • Supervise factory acceptance testing (FAT) of AHUs. • Verify airflow performance, static pressure, vibration levels, and leakage tests. • Ensure proper calibration of testing instruments. • Coordinate third-party inspections and certifications where required • Knowledge of coil shop manufacturing process, coil circuits, connections and testing. • Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues. • Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc. • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives. • Reduce rework, rejection, and warranty claims. • Participate in internal audits and process improvements. • Track effectiveness of corrective actions

Production Planning & Scheduling • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders and plant capacity. • Release work orders and monitor adherence to production schedules. • Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Engineering for uninterrupted plant operations. Material & Inventory Control • Ensure material availability at line side as per production plan. • Track indents, shortages, and critical long-lead items to avoid downtime. • Monitor inventory levels, WIP, and FG movement to support lean manufacturing. Shop-floor Coordination • Work closely with shop-floor supervisors and line managers to resolve daily execution issues. • Support line balancing, priority changes, and shift-wise planning. • Track production output, rejections, and rework in coordination with Quality. System & Reporting • Update and maintain PPC data in ERP / production planning systems. • Prepare daily production reports, plan vs actual, and delay analysis. • Highlight bottlenecks, constraints, and improvement opportunities to plant leadership. Continuous Improvement & Compliance • Support 5S, safety, and process improvement initiatives on the shop floor. • Ensure compliance with plant SOPs, safety norms, and quality standards.

Local Vendor Development (Job Work) • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local vendors in and around Pune for HVAC manufacturing job work such as: o Powder coating o Anodization o Painting o Hot dip galvanizing o Notching, slotting, shearing & bending o Fabrication and related sheet metal processes • Coordinate vendor capability assessments, trial runs, and quality approvals in line with plant requirements. • Develop alternate vendors to mitigate supply and capacity risks Purchase & Negotiation • Source suppliers for C-class items for local plant consumption. • Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms for job work and consumables. • Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved terms. Consumables & Indirect Purchase • Manage local procurement of plant consumables, including: o Cleaning cloths, hand gloves, safety items o Pantry o Housekeeping items o General shop-floor consumables etc. • Ensure timely availability to avoid production disruptions. Coordination & Compliance • Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, and Stores teams for material and job work planning. • Ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and commercial terms. • Maintain supplier records, pricing data, and purchase documentation in ERP.
