1. Incoming Material Quality Assurance • Perform 100% inspection of raw materials and vendor-supplied components as per approved specifications. • Review and validate supplier documentation including COA, Test Certificates, and MSDS. • Maintain acceptance/rejection logs and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances. • Develop and revise inspection checklists and acceptance criteria. 2. In-Process Quality Control – Fabrication & Assembly • Conduct stage-wise inspections across fabrication processes: cutting, bending, welding, painting, and assembly. • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks. • Identify process deviations and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Verify torque settings, sealing integrity, and alignment of AHU assemblies. 3. Final Product Inspection & Functional Testing • Execute final inspection of Air Handling Units (AHUs) before dispatch, including visual checks, leakage tests, and performance validation. • Ensure conformity with customer requirements and internal quality standards. • Maintain calibration records of testing instruments and document inspection outcomes. 4. Quality Documentation & Compliance Reporting • Maintain comprehensive records: inspection reports, NCRs, calibration certificates, and rejection logs. • Generate and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. • Assist in internal audits and external assessments (ISO, customer audits). 5. Supplier Quality Management • Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve recurring quality issues. • Monitor and evaluate Supplier Quality Ratings (SQR). • Provide actionable feedback for vendor development and continuous improvement. 6. Continuous Improvement & Training • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and quality enhancement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing. • Conduct training sessions for operators and assembly teams on quality checkpoints and best practices.
