Land and Liaison

• Land Identification and Evaluation: Locating and assessing potential sites considering factors like size, topography, proximity to grid infrastructure, and environmental impact. • Negotiation and Acquisition: Engaging with landowners, negotiating purchase agreements or lease terms, and finalizing land acquisition deals. • Due Diligence: Facilitating collection of title documents, conducting title search reports, ownership, encumbrances, and any potential legal or environmental issues. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local land acquisition laws and environmental regulations. • Liaison work: Post acquisition compliances like mutations, diversions etc., and build relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth land acquisition and project construction. • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing and managing all necessary land-related documentation, including agreements, permits, and progress reports. • Project Support: Providing support to other project teams during development, construction, and operation phases.

Required Skills • Land Acquisition Expertise: Proven experience in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land for development projects, particularly in the power sector. • Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with land acquisition laws and environmental regulations. • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with landowners and other stakeholders. • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team.
