JD for Production Head – Electrical

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Head – Electrical to lead our electrical production operations at our facility in Sector 37, Gurgaon. This pivotal role is designed for a leader who can drive efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the manufacturing process. As the Production Head, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of production, ensuring that we meet our targets while adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this role, you will plan, organize, and control production activities, optimizing the use of manpower, machines, and materials to maximize efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, PPC, and SCM to ensure seamless operations and resolve any bottlenecks. Your leadership will inspire a culture of continuous improvement, allowing us to achieve operational excellence through initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with a post-graduate qualification in Operations or Production Management preferred. A minimum of 10 to 18 years of relevant experience in electrical manufacturing, with at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role overseeing plant operations is essential. Key technical skills required include a strong understanding of Electrical Manufacturing Processes, expertise in Panel Manufacturing, Switchgear, Control Panels, and LT–HT Systems, as well as proficiency in Production Planning and Control (PPC). Familiarity with quality systems, safety compliance, and ERP/MRP systems is vital. Soft skills are equally important, with strong problem-solving abilities, effective decision-making skills, and exceptional team management capabilities required.
