Job Description

Responsibilities: • Monthly revenue recognition following company guideline (verification of correctness of related documents from finance view point) • Ensuring compliance to prescribed Accounting & Commercial Guidelines and Procedures. • Review and analyse Margin by Product Segment. Develop metrics for measurement, review and control. • Group reporting with margin determination in consultation with PM/Top management • Monitoring proper records for Assets – Receipts / Returns / Inter Project Transfers, Periodical physical verification and monitoring utilization of Assets/ consumable tools and plants. Identification and disposal of scrap including preparation of sales order for scrap materials. • Monthly variance analysis – Budget cost v / s. Actual cost with reasons for variance • Review Progress of both Direct/In-Direct Tax assessments for complete and on-time review and closure. • Must have handled GST matters with ability to manage reports/filings independently. • Month End closure of books of accounts as per group & local statutory guidelines. • Assist Management during Month End/ Other Reporting requirements. • Petty cash management. • Own the Month End reconciliation of Bank/ AR/ AP/ Inventory & F.A. for on-time and completeness, in compliance with group requirement. • Able to review current processes and suggest improvement plans aiming for productivity, on time resolution and compliance. • Able to work within team and guide staff as & when required. • Other work assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualification & Skills: • M.Com/ or MBA regular/ or Half CA (means final drop out). with 12 -16 years work experience. • Hands on person with proven ability to manage accounting functions within manufacturing setup. • Prior experience of handling both Direct/Indirect Tax related compliance. • First class communication skills – both written and oral • Excel, PowerPoint and hands-on experience in ERP • Should be smart and go getter, being cool but firm in approach. • Good team player, but also a self-starter and ability to work independently. • Able to meet tight deadlines • Productive member of local management team.
