Data Centre Production Manager

The Data Centre Production Manager is responsible for driving end-to-end production operations within the data centre manufacturing facility at Greater Noida. The role ensures timely delivery of production outputs, optimization of processes, adherence to quality and safety standards, and continuous productivity enhancement. The position requires strong leadership to manage workforce, equipment, and cross functional coordination to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities Production & Delivery Management • Lead and supervise the production and shop-floor teams to achieve monthly and quarterly production targets. • Ensure on-time delivery of production output as per customer and internal requirements. • Execute and monitor section-wise production plans, ensuring alignment with overall production schedules. • Manage day-to-day production activities to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement • Identify, implement, and sustain productivity improvement initiatives across production lines. • Drive process optimization through machine utilization, manpower planning, and resource efficiency. • Reduce production costs through continuous improvement and operational discipline. • Maintain stringent equipment and machinery upkeep to minimize downtime and enhance throughput. Quality & Customer Focus • Maintain and improve product quality standards across the production lifecycle. • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve product-related issues and customer complaints. • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks for data center manufacturing. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Coordinate daily and weekly operations with Supply Chain, PPC, QA, and Engineering teams. • Align with planning teams for raw material readiness and production sequencing. • Strengthen communication channels between shop-floor teams and management for smooth operations. Inventory & Resource Management • Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory to optimal levels. • Plan manpower requirements and deploy resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. • Ensure compliance with stock-keeping, traceability, and material usage standards. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping • Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance guidelines.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution. • 10–15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or data center production environment. • Minimum 8 years in a Production In-Charge/Manager role within a medium to large-scale manufacturing setup. • Experience handling both unionized and non-unionized workforce, including contract labor. • Strong expertise in inventory management, quality control, and cost optimization.
