🔒 ConfidentialWe are seeking a meticulous Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the HVAC / MEP industry. This role is critical to the success of our projects, ensuring that billing processes are accurate and compliant with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HVAC project billing and will be adept in converting ducting and piping measurements into precise billing quantities. You will play a key role in monitoring project financials and ensuring timely invoicing, which is vital for maintaining healthy cash flow and client satisfaction. As a Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor, your day-to-day activities will include preparing running bills, RA bills, and final bills for HVAC projects. You will verify site measurements against drawings, work completion reports, and specifications, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times. Your coordination with site engineers, planning, and project teams will be essential for measurement verification and ensuring that all billing aligns with approved documentation. This collaborative environment will allow you to grow your skills and contribute significantly to project outcomes. You will be part of a dedicated engineering department, working closely with various teams, including project management and site operations. Must-Have Qualifications and Experience: - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field. - 1–3 years of experience in project billing or quantity surveying, preferably in HVAC or MEP projects. - Familiarity with contractor-side billing is an advantage. Technical Skills and Competencies: - Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and quantity sheets. - Proficient understanding of HVAC ducting and piping measurements, including GI duct, insulation, CHW piping, and VRF piping. - Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQs). Soft Skills and Attributes: - High attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Educational Requirements: - A diploma or degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field is essential. Certifications or Special Requirements: - Relevant certifications in Quantity Surveying or project management will be considered an advantage.
