Application Engineer –CCU

To support Sales team to achieve the order booking target in terms of top line volume at targeted margin. Candidate must be knowledgeable about the export sales market and be able to convert the sales pursuits into orders. ` Main duties and responsibilities will include inter-alia : o Responsible for converting enquiries to offers for the complete product range like various types of Precision Air Conditioning units, Close Control units, Data Center packages etc.. o Offers should be technically and commercially correct as per company guidelines and using company authorized selection tools. o To offer complete Sales Support by timely submission of Correct Techno-commercial offers. o To be able to read specifications, codes, BOQ etc and make key points for configuring the units besides capturing all deviations. o To be able to make compliance statements, submittals and support sales in their selling process. o To be able to accompany Sales to key meetings with Consultants/Contractors/End Customers on case to case basis. o To be able to revise the selections as per changes/revisions in the enquiry. o To be able to maintain records of enquiry, quotes etc and support the export sales team. o To be able to demonstrate energy savings / comparison between various fans, coils, motors etc and help Sales/consultant/end customer with right choices. o To be able to prioritize work and support sales without delays in submissions. o To be able to interact with vendors/internal-supply chain/other factory/costing functions so that bids can be submitted on time. o To be able to identify key USPs of the product and use them as sales pitch for a given project/client etc. o To be able to independently follow up on the quotes and inform the export sales team on the same. o To evolve with technological changes on a continuous basis so that knowledge matches with the industry trends and specifications. o Understanding Psychometrics would be essential.

Must be minimum a Diploma Engineer from a reputed institution with 3 – 5 years experience in the same field. o Should be a quick learner of Psychometrics, Fan Laws besides Air Engineering. o Must have demonstrable leadership and communication skills. o Since this is a support role –Interpersonal skills is essential. o Should be flexible in meeting deadlines and wiliness to travel if need be on short notices. o Must be conversant in English, Hindi and local language and be able to effectively communicate with Sales Team, Management, Customers etc. o Must have a pleasing personality and health. o Candidates who are willing to learn and work over a long horizon of time only need to apply.
