Job Description – Transport Supervisor (BPO Operations) Position: Transport Supervisor Location: Udyog Vihar, Gurugram Shift: Night Shift (Rotational Week Off) Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month Industry: Employee Transportation / BPO Transport Operations Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and responsible Transport Supervisor to manage night-shift transportation operations for a leading BPO client. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth cab operations, driver discipline, vehicle availability, timely trip execution, and compliance with client SOPs while using transport management applications such as Move N Sync or Commute. Key Responsibilities Transport Operations * Assign driver duties and vehicle schedules using Move N Sync, Commute, or similar transport management software. * Monitor employee pick-up and drop operations to ensure on-time performance. * Coordinate with drivers, vendors, dispatch team, and client representatives. * Manage route changes, trip modifications, and emergency transportation requirements. * Ensure zero trip failures and minimal delays. Driver Management * Supervise driver attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline. * Conduct daily driver briefings before shift commencement. * Ensure drivers possess valid driving licences and required documentation. * Resolve driver-related operational issues during the shift. * Maintain driver duty rosters and shift allocations. Fleet Management * Ensure vehicle availability as per operational requirements. * Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with vendors/workshops. * Track vehicle breakdowns and arrange immediate replacements. * Maintain records of servicing, insurance, fitness certificates, permits, and pollution certificates. * Ensure all vehicles meet client safety standards. Compliance & Safety * Ensure adherence to client transport SOPs and safety guidelines. * Verify vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness before deployment. * Report accidents, breakdowns, or operational incidents promptly. * Maintain complete operational records and shift reports. Reporting * Prepare daily operational MIS reports. * Track vehicle utilization and driver performance. * Escalate service issues to the Operations Manager in a timely manner. * Coordinate with the client transport desk for smooth operations. Required Skills * Experience using Move N Sync, Commute, or similar transport management software. * Strong knowledge of employee transportation operations. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to handle night-shift operations independently. * Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, WhatsApp). * Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Eligibility * Graduate or equivalent qualification. * 2–5 years of experience in BPO transport operations or fleet management. * Experience in handling commercial drivers and transport vendors. * Familiarity with Gurgaon road network and BPO transport operations is preferred.
