Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual primary (company to distributor) and secondary (distributor to retailer) sales targets for the assigned territory. 2. Distribution Network Management: Identify, appoint, and manage territory distributors. Ensure they maintain adequate inventory levels, settle claims on time, and achieve a healthy ROI. 3. Market Coverage & Expansion: Design and implement daily Beat Plans (Permanent Journey Plans) to ensure maximum retail coverage. Onboard new retail outlets, kirana stores, and modern trade accounts. 4. Merchandising & Brand Visibility: Ensure high product visibility at the point of sale. Execute visual merchandising strategies, including the placement of danglers, posters, and securing primary shelf space for hero products. 5. Competitor Mapping: Actively track competitor pricing, trade schemes, packaging changes, and new product launches in the spice industry, providing regular insights to the ASM. 6. Team Leadership: Guide, motivate, and track the daily performance of Sales Representatives (SRs) or frontline market executives. 7. Reporting & SFA Compliance: Maintain daily sales data and track stock movements using Sales Force Automation (SFA) software or FMCG mobile applications.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. • Experience: o Proven track record in FMCG Channel Sales, specifically in the Spices, Oil, or Staples industry. o Experience as salesperson for at least 2-3 years. o Experience in overseeing Below-the-line (BTL) activities. • Local Expertise: Deep understanding of the geography and local trade dynamics. • Sales Enthusiast: A "go-getter" attitude with a passion for field sales and achieving numbers. • Communication: Fluent in Local language and Hindi; basic English is a plus. • Skills: Ability to work in Sales Force Automation (SFA) Software • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of field staff.
