🔒 ConfidentialImplement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies across all production areas (spinning, weaving, dyeing, processing, packing, ETP/utility areas) • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments in machine shops, boiler/utility rooms, and chemical storage areas • Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of hazardous chemicals and dyes as per MSDS guidelines • Monitor machine guarding, electrical safety, and mechanical hazards on the shop floor (looms, spinning frames, ring frames, processing machinery) • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action reports • Conduct fire safety checks, maintain firefighting equipment, and organize mock drills and evacuation exercises • Ensure proper use of PPE (masks, gloves, ear protection, safety shoes, goggles), especially in dusty, noisy, and chemical-exposure areas • Conduct safety induction training for new workers/contractors and toolbox talks for shop floor staff • Maintain statutory compliance under the Factories Act, Rajasthan Factory Rules, and Pollution Control norms • Coordinate with Factory Inspector (Jaipur), Fire Department, for audits and inspections including Pollution Control Board • Monitor noise levels, dust/fiber exposure, and ensure occupational health checkups for workers • Maintain safety records, incident registers, permits (hot work, confined space, height work), and MIS reports • Support ETP/effluent handling safety and environmental compliance • Promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor in coordination with Production and HR teams
Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or related field • NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety (Must) • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in textile, spinning, weaving, or processing units • Sound knowledge of the Factories Act, chemical handling norms, and fire safety regulations • Familiarity with textile machinery hazards (looms, boilers, compressors, chemical processing units) • Good communication skills; ability to handle shop floor emergencies confidently • Local candidates (Jaipur & nearby areas) preferred Risk assessment & hazard identification (mechanical, chemical, fire) • Machine safety & guarding • Chemical/dye handling safety • Incident investigation & reporting • PPE compliance monitoring • Fire & emergency preparedness • Statutory compliance (Factories Act, Pollution Control Board norms)
