Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex engineering services projects for global clients within our dynamic engineering department. As a Project Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience in engineering project execution and team coordination to create high-quality engineering solutions that meet market demands and regulatory standards. In this role, your key responsibilities will include designing and developing new concepts for product design, applying core engineering principles to evaluate electromechanical products, and collaborating cross-functionally with simulation teams to guide design decisions. You will lead product development projects, manage schedules and resources, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules, quality benchmarks, and budgetary constraints. Your ability to monitor project milestones and implement risk mitigation strategies will be crucial for maintaining project alignment and client satisfaction. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders, engaging in regular customer communications to discuss project status, technical challenges, and necessary adjustments. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a Professional certification (PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile). A minimum of 15 years of total experience, including at least 4 years in a Project Management role, is required. Proven experience in managing engineering services projects (onsite/offshore or global delivery) and directly managing teams of 10-15 employees is essential. Key technical skills include proficiency in CAD design and modeling using tools like SolidWorks, Creo, and familiarity with PLM systems such as Windchill or Enovia. Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of core engineering principles, including product design and development, Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), and experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ASME, or Six Sigma. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability are critical soft skills for success in this role. Preferred attributes include experience working with global OEMs, familiarity with HVAC standards (ASHRAE, AMCA, UL), and knowledge of HVAC systems design and testing.
