Production Supervisor - Technical Textiles / HDPE Knitted Fabrics / Manufacturing

Supervise day-to-day production activities on the assigned shop floor / production line. • Ensure achievement of daily production targets as per the production plan. • Allocate manpower and work responsibilities according to production requirements. • Monitor machine operations and ensure optimum utilization of machines and manpower. • Coordinate with operators for smooth production and timely completion of jobs. • Monitor production parameters and ensure adherence to approved process standards. • Identify production abnormalities, machine-related issues and material problems and escalate them to the concerned team. • Control production wastage, rejection and rework. • Ensure proper use and handling of raw materials. • Coordinate with Quality team for in-process inspections and quality approvals. • Ensure production is carried out according to required product specifications such as GSM, width and other defined parameters. • Maintain daily production, wastage, rejection and downtime records and prepare shift-wise / daily production reports. • Support machine changeovers and production planning activities. • Ensure proper shift handover and communication between production teams. • Maintain discipline, housekeeping and safety standards on the shop floor. • Train and guide machine operators and helpers on proper working practices. • Coordinate with Maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance. • Assist the Production Manager / Head in improving productivity and reducing process losses.

2–4 years of relevant production/shop-floor experience in technical textiles, Raschel knitting, HDPE / PP manufacturing, woven / knitted fabrics, shade nets, plastic extrusion or synthetic textile manufacturing. Required Skills • Good understanding of shop-floor production operations. • Ability to manage operators, helpers and production manpower. • Basic understanding of production planning and target achievement. • Knowledge of production reporting, wastage and rejection monitoring. • Ability to identify basic machine/process abnormalities. • Understanding of quality requirements in a manufacturing environment. • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production MIS. • Good communication and team coordination skills. • Ability to handle manpower and maintain shop-floor discipline. • Problem-solving and decision-making ability during production. • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required. Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Production Supervisor, not a managerial-level candidate. Preference will be given to candidates currently working in technical textiles, Raschel knitting, shade net, HDPE/PP, woven/knitted fabric, extrusion or similar continuous manufacturing operations.
