Material Chaser

Ensure line feeding of parts/materials as per the production plan. Monitor daily and upcoming production requirements. Coordinate with vendors to ensure parts are delivered before the required production date. Conduct regular and proactive vendor follow-up for pending and critical materials. Track shortages, delayed deliveries and open purchase orders. Take immediate action on material shortages to avoid production line stoppage. Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Planning and Vendors. Maintain accurate material availability and shortage reports. Use ERP systems to check inventory, purchase orders and material status. Prepare and maintain tracking reports using MS Excel. Communicate with vendors through email, phone and other official channels. Escalate critical shortages and delayed supplies to management. Ensure minimum/zero shortage of components required for production.
