Job Description

The Lead Architect will be responsible for managing and coordinating architectural design and execution for a Data Center from GFC (Good For Construction) stage through construction and project completion. The role involves close collaboration with consultants, MEP teams, structural engineers, contractors, and project management teams to ensure design intent is maintained while meeting project timelines, cost, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Design Coordination & Management • Lead the architectural coordination from GFC stage to project handover. • Review and validate GFC drawings issued by consultants for constructability and compliance with project requirements. • Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, landscape, and interior consultants to resolve design conflicts. • Ensure architectural intent and design quality are maintained during execution. 2. Construction Documentation • Manage and review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups. • Provide architectural clarifications to the site execution team. • Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations and building codes. 3. Site Coordination • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor architectural works. • Support the construction team in resolving technical and design-related issues. • Ensure alignment between design documents and actual site execution. 4. Consultant & Stakeholder Management • Coordinate with design consultants, PMC, client representatives, and subcontractors. • Lead design review meetings and technical discussions. • Track and close RFIs, design changes, and site instructions. 5. Quality Control • Ensure architectural works meet quality standards, specifications, and project requirements. • Review materials and finishes for compliance with approved specifications. • Support QA/QC teams in architectural inspections. 6. Change Management • Evaluate design changes and value engineering proposals. • Assess impact on cost, schedule, and constructability. • Maintain records of revisions, approvals, and design updates. 7. BIM / Digital Coordination ( Preferred ) • Coordinate architectural models with BIM teams for clash detection and coordination. • Ensure updated BIM models reflect construction changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. • Registered Architect ( preferred ). • 8 to 10 years of experience in large-scale commercial Projects • Experience working with contractors or design-build firms. • Strong knowledge of construction detailing and materials. Technical Skills • Expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, and BIM coordination tools will more preferable. • Strong knowledge of GFC drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation. • Familiarity with building codes, fire norms, and authority approvals. • Experience in mixed-use developments (commercial, retail, office, hospitality, etc.). • Strong design coordination and technical problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management. • Ability to manage multiple consultants and site teams. • High attention to detail, quality, and constructability • Mixed-use developments • Large commercial complexes • High-rise office or retail developments • Integrated developments with parking, retail, office, and hospitality
