Estimation Engineer – HVAC (Tendering)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer – HVAC (Tendering) to join our dynamic team in Delhi NCR. As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a critical role in analyzing tender documents, preparing precise cost estimates, and coordinating with various stakeholders to produce high-quality technical submissions. In this role, you will be responsible for studying and interpreting tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare comprehensive HVAC cost estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQs). You will collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers, ensuring accurate data collection and timely bid submissions. Your ability to analyze rates and maintain an organized tender cost database will contribute to our competitive edge in the market. Moreover, your support in pre-bid queries and post-bid negotiations will enhance our relationship with clients and consultants, further solidifying our standing in the industry. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience: - Must-have qualifications and experience: - 2-5 years of experience in HVAC estimation and tendering processes. - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Technical skills and competencies: - Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHU, Ducting, and Piping. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools. - Familiarity with tender portals and bid submission procedures. - Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and specifications. - Soft skills and attributes: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Effective time-management and organizational skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Educational requirements: - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Certifications or special requirements: - Relevant certifications in HVAC or project management are a plus but not mandatory. Experience with industry standards and compliance regulations is desirable.
