Electrical Draughtsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman with a strong background in preparing electrical design and shop drawings for MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of proven experience in electrical drafting and must be proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit MEP will be considered an added advantage. The candidate must be capable of creating accurate layouts, schematics, and documentation for electrical systems while ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare electrical layout drawings, including lighting, power circuits, external lighting, and cable tray layouts. • Create detailed shop drawings for low voltage systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, public address (PA) systems, MATV, LAN, and telephone systems. • Develop conduit layouts and earthing layouts. • Draft Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) with load distribution and detailed DB schedules. • Prepare cable schedules and routing layouts to support site execution. • Create layouts for substations, transformers, DG sets, and related electrical components. • Assist in sizing and performing electrical load calculations. • Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet technical and project specifications. • Maintain drawing accuracy, update revisions, and ensure compliance with industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

B-Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification in drafting and design. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and low voltage systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit MEP will be an advantage. • Knowledge of industry standards and electrical design regulations. • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills. • Effective communication and coordination abilities
