Electrical Design Engineer

1. Electrical System Design (HT/LT): - Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and electrical load needs. - Prepare electrical load calculations and power distribution layouts including control schematics. - Design lighting systems, emergency power, grounding & earthing systems, and lightning protection etc. - Selection and sizing of equipment including Transformers, Generators, UPS, Panels, Circuit Breakers, Cables, and Switchgear etc. - Prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring/control schematics, and equipment layouts. - Design of ELV systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Data & Communication). - Carry out HV, LV and EIV with load calculations and system design 2. Code Compliance: - Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, IS, and local authority regulations. - Stay updated on latest electrical codes, standards, and sustainable design practices. 3. Technical Support: - Provide technical input during design development and construction. - Assist in resolving site-related issues and ensure adherence to design intent. 4. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design. - Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, and low-voltage systems. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software. - Knowledge of load analysis software (ETAP, Dialux, etc.) preferred. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
