EHS- Environmental Health & Safety

- Responsible to promote Safe working environment in the factory - Assisting and co-operating with the management in achieving the aims and objectives outlined in the 'Health and safety policy' of the occupier; - Dealing with all matters concerning health, safety and environment and to arrive at practicable solutions to problems encountered; - Creating safety awareness amongst all workers: - Undertaking & imparting educational, training and promotional activities; - Prepare / Evaluate / discuss reports on safety, environmental health surveys, safety audits, risk assessment, emergency and disaster management points and implementation of the recommendations made in the reports; - carrying out health and safety surveys and identifying causes of accidents; - Reporting accidents as per guidelines - Looking into any complaint made on the likelihood of an imminent danger to the safety and health of the workers and suggesting corrective measures and reviewing the implementation of the recommendations by it. - Managing compliances under PCB / GPCB, Air, noise, CTO, BOCW, OSHA, etc. - Manage safety committee and related requirements • Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) / Injury Frequency Rate (IFR): Number of reportable injuries per million hours worked. • Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR): Number of lost-time injuries per million hours worked. • Near Miss Incident Reporting Rate: Number of reported near misses per month or quarter. • Number of EHS Audits Conducted and Compliance Score as per GTCMS : Percentage of scheduled audits completed / GTCMS activity completed in time and the compliance rating achieved. • Percentage of Employees Trained on EHS Topics: Completion rate of mandatory EHS training programs • Number of Non-Compliance Issues Identified and Resolved: Timely closure of identified EHS non-compliances. • Compliances managed in GTCMS : Timely closure of EHS related compliances in GTCMS • Environmental Performance Indicators: E.g., waste reduction, energy consumption reduction, emissions control. • Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Effectiveness: Percentage of CAPAs implemented and their effectiveness in preventing recurrence of incidents. • Employee Engagement in Safety Initiatives: Participation rates in safety committees, safety suggestions submitted, etc.

• Number of Non-Compliance Issues Identified and Resolved: Timely closure of identified EHS non-compliances. • Compliances managed in GTCMS : Timely closure of EHS related compliances in GTCMS • Environmental Performance Indicators: E.g., waste reduction, energy consumption reduction, emissions control. • Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Effectiveness: Percentage of CAPAs implemented and their effectiveness in preventing recurrence of incidents. • Employee Engagement in Safety Initiatives: Participation rates in safety committees, safety suggestions submitted, etc.
