Estimation Engineer

Must be able to review the tender and prepare the pre bid queries. Coordinate with client / Architect /Consultant and understand their requirement and act accordingly Responsible for estimation and costing of HVAC, MEP & Firefighting projects. To float the enquiries and prepare the comparison for the BOQ line items. To generate new data base of suppliers and achieve better prices. Must be able to negotiate with vendor to arrive at better pricing. Perform the technical and commercial review for the offers received from the vendors Need to understand the BOQ and technical specification. Prepare detail estimation as per the tender requirement and ensure the offer is been quoted within the stipulated time. Follow up with client and ensure that the project has been awarded. Must be goal oriented and ensure the monthly targets are achieved.

• Understands tenders – Reads project requirements and prepares queries if anything is unclear. • Knows BOQ and specifications – Understands the quantity and type of materials required. • Can estimate costs – Calculates the total project cost for HVAC, MEP, or firefighting work. • Handles vendor pricing – Collects quotations and negotiates for better prices. • Prepares quotations – Makes accurate technical and commercial offers within deadlines. • Coordinates with clients – Discusses requirements with clients, architects, and consultants. • Can generate business – Follows up on quotations and helps secure project orders
