BIM Modeller – Electrical

Key Responsibilities BIM Modelling: Create 3D electrical models in Revit MEP including Lighting, Power, ELV, Cable Tray, Conduit, Panel Boards, DBs, Transformers as per project standards. Family Creation & Parameters: Develop parametric and non-parametric families, type & instance parameters, shared parameters for scheduling and tagging. Drawings & Documentation: Generate 2D drawings, plans, sections, callouts, panel schedules - one column & two column templates as per NEC/IS standards. Schedules & BOQ: Create Material Take-off, Quantity Schedules, and Panel Schedules from Revit model for procurement and costing. Coordination & Clash Detection: Perform clash detection in Navisworks between Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Structural models. Resolve clashes and issue coordination reports. BIM Standards & Process: Follow project BEP and CDE workflow. Work in central models, manage work sets, view templates, scope boxes, and view ranges. Lighting Design Support: Assist in lighting fixture layout based on lux level requirements for different spaces. Collaboration: Work with Architects, Structural, and other MEP teams using Copy Monitor for grids/levels. Upload models to BIM 360 / ACC and maintain LOD 300 - LOD 500. Quality Control: Ensure models meet LOD requirements and company standards. Support in as-built model preparation - LOD 500. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering 2+ Years experience in Revit MEP Electrical modelling Good knowledge of NEC & IS standards, voltage levels, panel sizing Hands-on experience in Navisworks Clash Detection Understanding of LOD, BEP, CDE process Knowledge of lighting design and lux level calculation
