3 tips to keep up the mental health of your team

Being a leader means, you need to look after your team from a 360° perspective. In this circle of leadership comes taking care of your team's mental health. You need to ensure, every member of your team is content with their job and are achieving their growth goals.

 

There is a need for you to understand the personality and psychology of your teammates. Because with their progress is tied your organization's growth and future. It is like a mother and a child's role between the employer and the employee. The mother nurtures the child and the kid grows to provide for their/her/his mother.

 

The bonding between you and your team will become invincible if you help them lead a balanced life and work without stress.

 

Here are some ways you can follow to reach the goal of invincible bonding with your team:

 

1.    ADD A NAP ROOM TO YOUR OFFICE

 

You can't definitely cut on the work hours of your team. However, it isn't impossible to give them more than they expect. We all know how tough it is to work after lunch. There are times when you and your team need to over stay at office. Science says, lack of sleep and continuous work reduces reaction time of an individual. It is the same as consuming alcohol.  In those times, stand with them in solidarity and alot one hour of nap to each of them.

 

Researchers found out that mid day sleep or power nap increases alertness, reduction of stress, improves conginitive functioning, enhances patience level, improves mental health, provides much better reaction time, increases ability to learn, improves effeciency and leads to a sound health.

 

This is the first step you need to take in order to provide them a stress free work place.

 

2.    Enhance the look of your office

 

Please play an important role in mental health. Having a pleasant and a creative office interior helps to reduce work stress. it has been proven that visual distractions are good for increasing productivity. You can add interiors or light elements to add in your office.
