•Perform Dimensional Inspection and review Test Certificates • Study drawings and project related quality assurance plan. • Coordinate with TPI/Client for routine inspection according to project requirements. • Study the manufacturing procedures and perform inspection planning for critical inspection activities to avoid non conformity at later stage. • Maintain QC documentation and inspection records using advance software like ERP, Adobe acrobat, Ms Excel. • Write and revise standard quality control operated procedures. • Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. • Collect and select samples for testing and for use as models. • Survey site ahead of fitting HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing or Fire Fighting system. • Perform Various test such as CFM test, ducts smoke test, piping leak test, review of test certificate of materials used on-site. • Conduct checks with appropriate inspection instruments (Gauges, Micrometers, Tachometers, Anemometers, Clamp Meters, etc) • Approve incoming material from vendors based on quality of materials and interact with vendors for improvement in quality • Assist on supplier risk assessments by performing sensitivity analysis on critical vendors.

Job Summary The Costing Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for MEP projects, managing tender processes, analysing project costs, and supporting budget optimisation. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems, along with expertise in cost estimation and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities 1. Cost Estimation & Tender Management • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs. • Manage the complete tendering process, including preparation, submission, and negotiation. • Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop competitive bids. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather cost inputs. • Submit commercial and technical offers to clients within timelines. 2. Project Tracking & Client Coordination • Maintain CRM records for enquiries and tender status. • Follow up with GC/PMC/End Clients for project updates and clarifications. • Support bid clarifications and post-submission negotiations. • Assist management in pricing strategies and bid optimisation. 3. Vendor & Supplier Management • Coordinate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor and supplier quotations. • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost savings. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers. • Support vendor finalisation based on cost competitiveness and technical compliance. 4. Cost Control & Documentation • Maintain accurate documentation of estimates, BOQs, and cost records. • Ensure cost data is updated for future benchmarking and analysis. • Support project teams with cost insights during execution. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. 5. Compliance & Quality Standards • Ensure estimates align with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives. • Maintain transparency and audit-ready documentation.
