🔒 ConfidentialThe Store Head will oversee all aspects of the store and inventory management, ensuring efficient operations that align with the company’s goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management within the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: o Overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and products. Ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock audits. o Ensuring timely availability of materials and products for production o Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and reduce costs. o Implement measures for preservation of the materials o Implement measures for ensuring FIFO of the materials o Implement measures to ensure safety of the materials. o Ensure 100% of the materials received gets barcoded and stored at defined place 2. Team Leadership: o Staff Supervision: Managing and training store staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures & motivate store team to achieve operational excellence. o Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. 3. Operational Efficiency: o Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storing, and distributing materials. o Optimize store layout and processes for improved efficiency. o Take Measures to improve time between vehicle reporting, unloading and clearing the vehicle 4. Supplier Coordination: o Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with shipping regulations. o Ensuring quantitative and qualitative check of the material being received against the purchase order and specifications. 5. Data Management: o Utilize ERP to track stock levels and ensure availability as per ROL defined. o Prepare regular reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and forecasts. 6. Compliance and Safety: o Ensuring that the store complies with all safety regulations, Company policies and standards. Conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. o Implement best practices for storage and handling of hazardous materials. 7. Cost Control: o Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. o Monitor and control budget allocations for store operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management. • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in inventory management or store operations, preferably in the manufacturing or HVAC sector. • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and practices. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Proficient in MS Office Suite and inventory management software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
