Senior Electrical design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic design team in Bangalore. This pivotal role focuses on the design and execution of electrical services for a diverse portfolio of large-scale projects spanning residential, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. As a Senior Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in electrical design engineering to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems, delivering innovative solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. In your day-to-day activities, you will lead the preparation of detailed load calculations, cable sizing, and fault level analysis while creating comprehensive Single Line Diagrams (SLD). You will design and review high and low tension systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and lighting/power distribution architectures. Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP services, you will validate designs on-site and ensure that all electrical systems align with project requirements and safety standards. The role also includes guiding junior engineers, reviewing their designs, and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimations to support project budgeting and financial planning. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with 5-12 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering, particularly within the MEP and building services domain. A strong foundation in high and low tension systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, power distribution, lighting, and earthing systems is essential. Experience with AutoCAD is mandatory, while proficiency in Revit MEP is preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record in load calculations, fault level analysis, and SLD preparation, along with the ability to prepare and validate BOQs and cost estimates.
