Senior DevOps Engineer

Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications • Manage, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes • Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability using modern observability tools • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment, release, and rollback processes • Enforce security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments • Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) • Optimize cloud cost, performance, and scalability • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and runbooks • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps and SRE best practices

1. Core Technical Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems • Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EKS) • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation • Configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic, or Datadog 2. Database & Messaging (Good to Have) • Experience managing MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ • Understanding of database replication, backup strategies, and performance tuning 3. Security & Networking • Solid understanding of IAM, security groups, firewalls, and SSL/TLS • Experience with secrets management tools such as AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, and CIDR Good to Have • Experience with Debezium, Kafka Connect, or CDC-based architectures • Knowledge of OpenSearch / Elasticsearch • Exposure to cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
