Senior Civil Engineer

SS Engineering PLLC is on the lookout for a Senior Civil Engineer based in Hyderabad, India, to play a crucial role in supporting our land development projects across the United States, particularly in the dynamic Houston region of Texas. This position is integral to our operations, where you will leverage your expertise in civil engineering to design and implement innovative site development plans that conform to US regulations and standards. Your contributions will directly impact the successful execution of projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency in our engineering processes. In this role, you will engage with our US-based team to prepare detailed grading, drainage, and utility designs. You will utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and modeling while coordinating closely with project managers, surveyors, and architects. Your work will include performing hydrology calculations, preparing engineering reports, and developing erosion control plans, all vital for maintaining our commitment to excellence and sustainability in land development. As you contribute to the planning and execution phases, you will also have the opportunity to assist in responding to city comments and ensuring that all documentation meets the rigorous standards expected by our clients. Familiarity with US land development standards and regulations, particularly those specific to Texas, is highly desirable. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively collaborate with US-based teams and stakeholders. In addition to the technical qualifications, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to meet deadlines while coordinating with US time zones.
