Junior Civil Engineer

SS Engineering PLLC is excited to invite applications for the Civil Engineer position, focused on US land development projects primarily in the Houston region of Texas. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will support the design and execution of critical site development initiatives, drainage systems, and utility layouts. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented engineer with a solid foundation in AutoCAD Civil 3D and an eagerness to engage with US standards and codes. By collaborating closely with US-based Project Managers and other professional teams, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. In this role, your day-to-day activities will encompass preparing site development plans, performing essential hydrology and hydraulic calculations, and utilizing your AutoCAD skills to create surface models and grading plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and assisting in the permitting process. Your contributions will help streamline project workflows, enhance the quality of deliverables, and support the successful completion of projects. Working remotely from Hyderabad, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration across time zones and offers mentorship opportunities from US-licensed engineers.
