Job Description

1. Purpose of the Position We are looking for a Business Developer with strong implementation and change management skills to re-establish our Service Department and drive revenue growth in the HVAC sector in South Korea. This role focuses on building market presence, securing new business opportunities, and developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, while rapidly creating a short-term service network through partners.

Main Responsibilities • Re-establish and operationalize the Service Department to ensure full readiness, including hiring, onboarding, and implementing a robust training strategy for employees and partners. • Develop and execute a Service Sales strategy to build a strong service culture and drive revenue growth through service agreements and installed base sales. • Manage the complete service cycle, from initial client contact and on-site evaluations to bid submission, proposal development, and contract negotiation and closing. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as facility managers, general contractors, consultants, and partner networks to expand market presence. • Implement and optimize service management tools (FSM and CRM) to track service activities, monitor performance, and report on key metrics and forecasts. • Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring competitive positioning. • Develop technical training infrastructure to onboard employees and partners efficiently, ensuring high standards of HVAC knowledge and product expertise. ________________________________________ 3. Basic Requirements of the Position Education/Knowledge/Certification: • Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience), Solid technical understanding of commercial HVAC services and products • Nice-to-Have: Professional certifications in Change Management or Project Management (e.g., PMP), Advanced degree (Master’s) in Business or Engineering Experience: • Must-Have: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in B2B service or business development, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services, or construction • Nice-to-Have: Experience in international markets or cross-cultural business development Skills: • Must-Have: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Nice-to-Have: Multilingual capabilities, Familiarity with service FSM tools and market analysis platforms Competences (select 3-5): • Strategic and process-oriented mindset • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Adaptable and resilient under pressure • Self-motivated and target-driven • Excellent stakeholder management ________________________________________ 4. Working Conditions • Extensive travel required (minimum 60%, mostly international) • Valid travel documents and visas will be required to meet international mobility requirements • Field-driven position with flexibility in working hours • Collaboration with internal teams and external partners across multiple regions ________________________________________ 5.
